Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police busted a hi-tech prostitution racket in the city and arrested three middlemen and rescued three women involved in the racket.

Those arrested have been identified as Parvez Khan, Suresh Singh and Sharavana; Usman and Rishabh, two other accused managed to escape during the raid.

The police, acting on a tip off, raided a posh bungalow located at BTM Layout, Kuvempunagar on Monday. Sources say that those involved in the racket used to get models from Mumbai to the city and targeted rich people. A fee between 20,000 and 50,000 was fixed. The accused also had four swiping machines for cashless transactions. Further, the gang’s credit and debit card transactions were registered under Brigade Platinum Escorts.

Meanwhile, during interrogation, the three accused informed the police that a head constable at Parappana Agrahara police station had information on the racket.

Following the allegations, the head constable will now be interrogated, it is said.
