Prostitution racket busted: three arrested

Mangaluru: Police have arrested three men indulging in prostitution by bringing women from other states. The arrested are identified as Junais (36) from Kozhikode, Abdul Nazeer (36) from Surathkal and Niyaz from Yedapadav (29).

Based on definite information, Economic and Narcotic Crime Inspector Rmakrishan K K conducted a raid on Al Shamas house in Shaktinagar which was rented out by the accused for conducting prostitution by getting women from other states. The accused were arrested and produced before the court.

The operation was conducted under the order of Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil and guidance of DCP Hanumantaraya and Laxmi Ganesh.
