Provide Rs 50 lakh aid to kin of teachers who died due to COVID: Khandre

Bengaluru: KPCC Secretary Eshwar Khandre demanded the government to provide Rs 50 lakh financial aid to families of teachers who died due to COVID-19.
Taking to twitter, Khandre said, ” A good teacher can shape the future of several students. But it is sad that 156 teachers have died in Karnataka during the pandemic. I pray that their soul rest in peace.”
“Covid-19 has shut schools but teachers are making sure that learning is not stopped. The government must provide Rs 50 lakh financial aid to families of teachers who died due to COVID-19,” he added.
