Kalaburgi: Leader of the Opposition, Karnataka Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah has demanded the state government to subject ADGP Amrit Paul and DySP Shantha Kumar accused of the PSI Recruitment Scam to a narco analysis test.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, he said, “Senior officers Amrit Paul and Shantha Kumar who are arrested in relation to the PSI Recruitment Scam shall be subjected to narco test. This is the best way to know about who was involved in the scam, including the ministers and officials”.
On the question about State Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan’s allegations of stating that ‘Siddaramaiah had a big role to play in the scam’, he replied, “If it was so, when I was the chief minister of the state, he was in the opposition. Why wasn’t the issue raised at that point in time? Why was he silent? The current dispensation is trying to hush up the corruption cases that they are involved in. People of the state are observing closely”.
