Bengaluru: Son of Shanthinagar Congress legislator N A Haris, Mohammed Haris Nalapad, has moved the high court for the relaxation of his bail for his pilgrimage to Mecca.
Nalapad has been charged with an attempt to murder case of Vidwath L, the son of a businessman, during an altercation at Farzi Café an uptown café in UB City, Bengaluru in February 2018. He was arrested a few days after the incident.
In June 2018, the high court granted him bail on the condition that he would not leave the jurisdiction of the trial court without prior permission.
The hearing on the bail relaxation has been adjourned until May 8.
