‘Public centre’ for collection of relief materials for flood victim

- Relief materials collection for flood victims from 9:00 AM to 6:30 pm at Karnataka Polytechnic College in Kadri.
Mangaluru: With the torrential rains causing widespread chaos along the west coast of India, the Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has set up a public centre for the collection of relief materials for flood victims in the Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu districts in Karnataka and also for the state of Kerala.
A team of officials has been deployed to collect relief materials for victims of the floods. The relief materials for victims of the floods will be collected from 9:00 AM to 6:30 pm at Karnataka Polytechnic College in Kadri.
The relief materials that may be donated are:
- Bed sheets (New)
- Carpets
- Cooking Items (vessels, rice, tea powder, coffee powder, cooking oil packets and salt).
- Biscuits/Bread
- Medicines
- Water Bottles
- Cloths
- Towels, Soap, Brush, Toothpaste.
- Torchlight
- Notebooks for students
- Sanitaries
