Bengaluru: Minister of Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar on Monday announced that the results of the State’s second-year pre-university college students will be announced in the second week of July.

Speaking at a news conference, he said that the Supreme Court had ordered the results of the students to be announced by July 30. Hence, the results will be announced in the second week of July.

“The results will not be unfair to anyone. It will be based on the criteria specified by experts. If any student is not satisfied with the results, then he or she will be allowed to write the exam again,” Kumar said.

The PUC examination in the State was cancelled this year due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results will be based on the marks obtained by students in the PUC-I and SSLC examination.
