Pune woman drugged, robbed 16 men she met on dating apps; arrested

Pune: A 27 year-old woman who allegedly drugged and robbed around 16 men, whom she met via dating apps was arrested by Pimpri-Chinchwad police on February 4.

The arrest comes after one of the victims, Ashish Kumar filed a complaint against her.

The arrested has been identified as Sayali Kale. She like many others in the country lost her job during the pandemic.

Police informed that Sayali met these men via dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble.

Ashish Kumar said that they met at a hotel in Pune. He said that Sayali spiked his drink and robbed him of his valuables.

The probe further revealed that Sayali had drugged and cheated 16 such men on dating apps to make quick money.

The police have recovered cash and jewelry worth Rs.15.25 lakh from Sayali Kale.
