‘Puthige Swamiji is in good health and responding well to treatment’

Udupi: Head of Puthige Math Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji, who was tested positive for COVID-19 recently is continuing with his daily prayers routine at KMC Hospital Manipal where he is undergoing treatment of coronavirus infection.

When the Swamiji tested positive he was on the verge of beginning his Chaturmasya annual ritual.

The devotees of Swamiji who were worried about the latter since the news of his sickness spread, have been calmed down after pictures of his pictures which is been circulating on the social media platform. The Seer is getting assistance from his disciples who are seen wearing PPE kits, for his puja.

Meanwhile, the doctors at the hospital informed that Swamiji is in good health and responding well to treatment.
