Puttur: Two persons were killed in a head-on collision between two 4-wheelers near Shekhamale close to Kumbra on the Mani-Mysuru National Highway on the evening of Sunday, June 16.
The deceased have been identified as Lokesh and Ravindra, both natives of Somwarpet.
The collision involved an Alto and a Bolero. The two deceased were occupants of the Alto. Occupants of the Bolero were injured and have been admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.
The deceased persons were travelling from Mangaluru to Madikeri. The bodies have been kept at the mortuary of the Puttur Government Hospital.
