Puttur: A man threw stones at a KSRTC bus, damaging its windshield reportedly after its driver did not halt the bus at Uppinangady on Monday, October 24.

The accused, who works as a labourer, was onboard the Vegadooth bus headed towards Mangaluru from Bengaluru.

The man was allegedly drunk and had asked the bus driver to halt the bus at a specific location. He got angry when the driver did not heed his request and halted the bus only at its authorized stop.

After alighting from the bus, the man picked up stones and threw them at the windshield.
