Puttur: A fight ensued between the staff of Reliance SMART outlet at Darbe here and customers after the staff did not allow a customer to enter for not wearing a facemask.
A customer was standing in the queue to enter the outlet when a staff member stated that he wouldn’t be allowed to enter for not wearing a face mask.
Angered by this the customer and his friends assaulted the staff member who was then joined by other staff from the outlet.
Puttur police arrived at the spot and detained two persons and are conducting an inquiry into the incident.
