On July 13, the boys had approached the ticket counter at Puttur Railway Station to inquire about the train to Bengaluru and requested tickets.

Noticing their suspicious behavior, the staff questioned the boys, who revealed that they had run away from hostel. They informed the local police who arrived at the scene and contacted their parents after counselling the students. The boys are currently with their parents.
