Puttur: House theft case; Two arrested

Puttur: Police officials have arrested two persons in connection with a house theft in Sutrabettu on APMC road.

The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Mustafa (28), a resident of Kurnadka, and Shamir (24), a resident of Savanur Chapalla.

It is said that Satyanarayan, a resident of a rented house in Sutrabettu had gone to his native on January 4.

His elder brother Gopinath had locked the house and kept one of the keys in the side box of the motorcycle parked outside the house and took the other key with him.

On January 8, Satyanarayan returned to his house and found that valuables worth Rs 25,000 were stolen.

Following this, a complaint was registered and the accused have been arrested.
