Puttur: A 37-year-old man from Barike in Kedambadi village has been missing for over seven months, leaving his family and authorities searching for answers.

Divakar, an unmarried daily wage laborer, left home on April 27 at 6 AM and called his family later to say he was “lost in the forest” and could not find his way out. His phone switched off shortly after the call, and he has not been seen since.

A 15-member team from Sampya Police searched the forest soon after his disappearance but could not locate him.

The Puttur Rural Police have issued a public appeal to report any information about Divakar’s whereabouts to the District Control Room or the police station.
