Puttur: Man arrested for sexually abusing boy

‎Puttur‎‎: Sampya police have solved the  22-day-old case of sexual abuse of a boy and arrested a man from Kasargod.

The arrested has been identified as Sreejith of Nekraje in Kasaragod.

According to the complaint filed by the parent of the victim, on April 22, an unidentified man picked up the boy by promising to drop him at his grandmother’s house. But on the way, the man allegedly sexually abused the boy.

Based on the subsequent investigation, the accused was arrested from Kasaragod by a team from Puttur Rural police station. The accused was later produced before the court in Puttur, police said.
