Puttur: MLA’s ‘COVID Warroom’ holds funeral of COVID-19 dead

Puttur: The COVID Warroom set up by the MLA here helped in the conduct of the funeral of a woman who died of COVID-19.
The 56-year-old woman from Peruvaje in Sullia taluk was admitted to Mangaluru’s Deralkatte Hospital. She died there on the night of April 30.
Two workers from the warroom along with the family members of the deceased organised the funeral at the Madiwalkatte burial ground adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines and wearing PPE kits.
