Puttur: Pro-Hindu outfits object to inter-faith marriage notice, calls it ‘Love Jihad’

Puttur: An incident of pro-Hindu organisations objecting to a notice of inter-faith marriage that is making rounds on social media has been reported here.

Reportedly, a woman named Akshatha K (34), a resident of Derbe, Puttur, currently residing in Bengaluru is marrying Shaik Mohammed Saleem (44), a resident of Nyanappanahalli, Bengaluru. They had registered for their marriage.

In relation to this, a 30-day-notice was served to file any objection to the marriage.

The notice which began making rounds on social media is now being objected to by pro-Hindu organizations.

They have allegedly called it out as ‘Love Jihad’.
