Puttur: Six arrested for armed robbery at farmhouse

Puttur: Six persons have been nabbed by police in connection with the robbery at a house in Kudkadi Thotadamoole in Paduvannur village on September 7.
It may be recalled that robbers had barged into the farmhouse belonging to Guruprasad Rai Kudkpadi, located at a secluded place. The gang of robbers, brandishing knives had barged into the house and tied up Guruprasad and his mother. The robbers then ransacked through the entire house and decamped with the valuables. A case in this regard was fled at Puttur Rural Police Station.
Police have now arrested Sudhir Peruvayi, and five others Pacchambala Ravi, Kiran, Vasanta, Fasal, and Nisar from Kasargod district in Kerala for their involvement in the crime.
All six arrested accused have criminal antecedents. Pacchambala Ravi, who has been serving a life sentence, had been reportedly released on parole.
Police have reportedly seized a car and gold ornaments from the accused.
