Puttur: Student averts tragedy by leaping into driverless bus rolling down road

Puttur: A student’s prompt action averted a major bus tragedy in Puttur bus station.

It is said that the bus going towards Uppinangady was parked in the bus station. But, suddenly it began to slowly roll backward down a busy road.

However, Siyaan, a student of a private college leaped onto the driver’s seat and hit the brakes.

Locals praised the student for his timely action.
