School teachers managed to apprehend an individual involved in the theft of property related to the high school department at Kombettu Government PU College.

The missing items, including a drum and various steel and plastic items intended for student use at Puttur Kombettu School, had raised concerns as they had disappeared over the course of several days. In light of these developments, the vice-principal of the school decided to review the CCTV footage, revealing the presence of a thief.

Upon discovering the theft, the school authorities, along with members of the School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC), local officials, and the police, were promptly informed.

On October 5, the vice-principal and school teachers successfully apprehended the individual responsible for stealing the steel drum while he was lurking on the school premises. The suspect is reported to hail from Uttar Pradesh.
