Recently during the four-laning work of NH, the workers did not clear the mud after digging up the road. This mud made its way into the roadside drain owing to the heavy rains.

On Monday, a container truck traversing on this path got stuck in the slush-filled drain while giving passage to another vehicle. Meanwhile another truck too got stuck while trying to pass ahead of this container.

Later crane was deployed to move the containers. Locals say that a similar incident took place last month too but the contractor is not bothered about the problem.
