Puttur: Two men arrested for selling liquor illegally

Puttur: Police officials have arrested two men who were trying to sell liquor illegally in Kemminje village, Puttur.
The accused have been identified as Babu Poojary (48) and Ganesha (32), residents of Kemminje village.
Police raided Kallagudde of Kemminje village where the accused were selling Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) and beer without a legal permit.
Officials have also seized several sachets and bottles of liquor and also cash amounting to Rs 800 that the accused had made by selling the liquor. The total value is said to be Rs 26,118.
