Puttur: Woman accuses employer of misbehaviour; complaint filed

Puttur: A woman working as a computer operator in an advocate’s office has filed a complaint against the latter accusing him of assaulting her with intent to outrage her modesty.
The accused has been identified as Ummer K, an advocate who has his office in Vittal, Bantwal taluk. The complainant said the accused often misbehaved with her.
The complainant also claimed that Ummer threatened her with dire consequences if she refused to listen to him.
On August 16, Ummer reportedly misbehaved with the lady when there was no one else in the office. A complaint has been filed and further investigations are underway.
