Puttur: An unmarried youth committed suicide by hanging himself in Poiyettadka of Nidpalli village, Puttur.
The deceased identified as Vishwanath, son of Nidpalli Poiyettadka Aittappa Naikkar was a daily wage laborer. Vishwanath was found hanging near his house on Saturday morning
The reason for the death is yet to be ascertained. However, locals have raised suspicion over his death.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
