Puttur: Youth injured in accident passes away

‎Puttur:‎‎ The pillion rider of a scooter who was injured in a collision with a tipper lorry on May 4 on the Mani Mysuru National Highway, breathed his last at a private hospital in Mangaluru on May 7.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Aseer (17), son of Neerkaje Husainar of Aryapu village.

The scooter, on which Aseer was riding pillion, had rammed into an oncoming tipper lorry, while overtaking another vehicle on Urlandy Bypass road. As a result, the rider Sinan (18) had been killed on the spot. Aseer had been rushed to a hospital but passed away without responding to treatment.
