Bengaluru: Private health facilities urged the state government to allow a hike in vaccination service charges.
The Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association demanded the service charge to be increased from Rs 100 to Rs 300.
They claim that “huge expenses” required towards investing for cold chain, storage and other needs.
Also, they said that direct procurement of vaccines from manufacturers costs nearly four to eight times more than what is being paid to the government to get the vaccines.
