Bengaluru: The Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka has sought an extension of the last date for admission in the current academic year.
In the request submitted to the Department of Public Instruction, the body has stated that schools need at least one more month after offline classes start from September 1 for classes 1 to 8.
The Association has also requested the Department to issue orders making it mandatory for parents to pay fees on time and make their children attend classes regularly.
