A number of factors are responsible for putting on weight, obesity not only ruins our personality but also leads to a lot of health problems including mental health issues.

Although hitting the gym and taking health supplements are few ways of losing weight but making small changes in your everyday routine can help you lose weight.

Below are few easy tips to help you lose weight.

1) Stop consuming sugar

The best way to lose weight is by reducing the intake of sugar in your diet. Stop consuming sugary foods if you want to lose weight quickly as sugar slows down the metabolic rate of the body, which in turn doesn’t make you lose weight easily. Go for alternates like jaggery and honey if you have sugar cravings.

2) Exercise regularly

Losing weight just by keeping a check on your diet won’t help. You have to work out in order to burn all the excess fat present in your body. You can start by jogging, walking or climbing the stairs to lose fat.

3) Drink green tea

Metabolism can be increased by drinking three cups of green tea every day as green tea helps to burn your body fat. It is loaded with antioxidants and is healthy.
