Bengaluru: Condemning the violent incidents in Delhi on Republic Day, Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the Delhi protests in the name of farmers were incited by international powers.

Calling it an anti-national act, Nalin Kumar explained that the incident in Delhi on Republic Day was instigated by foreign forces and that the majority of the protestors are leftist middlemen and not farmers.

Accusing the film actors of disseminating misinformation and instigating the protestors on social media, Kateel explained that the centre implemented various acts that bring agricultural reforms, expand the markets, ensure better prices for agriculture produces.

Kateel said that the government has conducted eleven rounds of talks with farmers, even offered to suspend law for a while. He further accused the vested interest groups for instigating the farmers, which led to the disfigurement of Mahatma Gandhi’s statues.
