Rahul Gandhi gets ‘Linga Deeksha’ from Murugha Mutt seer

Chitradurga: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has ordained with “Linga Deeksha” from the Murugha Mutt seer Dr. Sri Shivamurthy Murugha Sharnaru.

Rahul, on his visit to Mutt on Wednesday, offered flowers to Karthru Gaddige of Murugi Shanthaveera Swamiji and sat for meditation.

As per reports, he has requested for a person to come to Delhi and train him in ‘Linga Puja’ and other rituals.

Meanwhile, seers of more than 20 mutts including the seer of Hubbali’s Murusavira Mutt Sri Madara Chennaiah Swamiji were present.
