Rahul to tour Mysuru from today

Mysuru: AICC president Rahul Gandhi will take off the fourth phase of Janaarshirvarda Yatre from the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru, the home town of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday. Rahul will cover Mysuru, Chamarajanagar and Mandya regions amid the two-day visit.
The three areas – Mysuru, Chamarajanagar and Mandya – contain 22 constituency, of which the Congress holds 14 and the JD(S) has seven.
After visiting Chamundeshwari temple, Rahul will interact with the students at the Maharani’s College for Women. He will then head towards Chamarajanagar where he will address a corner meeting and hold roadshows along the towns of Santhemarahalli, Yalandur and Kollegal. He will address an open rally at Malavalli in Mandya.
On Sunday, Rahul will meet senior party leaders and presidents of block Congress committee of Hassan and Chikkamagaluru regions. In Mandya, Rahul will have a roadshow at KR Pet and Pandavapura, trailed by a corner meeting at Srirangapatna. He will finish up the visit with an open rally at the Maharaja Ground in Mysuru.
Rahul started his Janaarshirvada Yatra in February, beginning from Hyderabad-Karnataka. After that he visited the Mumbai-Karnataka and the coastal districts.
