Raichur: Man allegedly killed over bike parking

Raichur: A man was killed over the pretext of bike parking here on the night of Tuesday, September 1.

The incident occurred at the town’s Parkot layout. The murdered has been identified as Salman Mehboob (28).

It was reported that heated arguments occurred over the parked bike at Ganga Nivas on Tuesday night. A group of four is said to have attacked Mehboob with lethal weapons.

Sadar Bazar police station officials have visited the site of the incident. They said the exact cause of the incident will be known only after the investigation.

The attackers have fled. The deceased’s wife has lodged a complaint against the unknown attackers.
