Railway authorities announce special train from Mangaluru to Mumbai

People traveling to Mumbai from Mangaluru can now breathe a sigh of relief as the railway authorities have announced a one-way special train from Mangalore Junction to Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus. The train numbered 06007, is being introduced to reduce the extra traffic of passengers.

According to sources, the Mangalore Junction Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special Train will depart from Mangalore at 6.10 pm on the 8th and reach Mumbai at 1.15 pm on the 9th. The train will have several stops along the way, including Suratkal, Udupi, Kundapur, Mookambika Road, Bynduru, Bhatkala, Murudeshwar, Kumta, Karwar, Kanakona, Madagaon, Karmali, Kudal, Kankavi, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwara Road, Sawarda, Chiplun, Khed, Veer, Roha, Panvel, and Thane.

The introduction of this special train has come as a boon for the people of Mangaluru who have been facing difficulties due to the heavy traffic of passengers on regular trains. With this one-way train, the authorities hope to ease the burden on other trains and provide a hassle-free journey to commuters.

Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance to avoid any last-minute rush. The authorities have also urged commuters to follow all COVID-19 protocols while traveling and to carry all necessary documents and identification proofs.

Overall, the Mangalore Junction Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special Train is set to bring much-needed relief to the people of Mangaluru and provide a comfortable and safe journey to those traveling to Mumbai.
