Rains Kill Three People in Two Separate Incidents in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Three people died in two separate incidents amid heavy rainfall activities in Karnataka on Saturday. Manjunath (36) a resident of Sadaramangala located at Kadugudi police station area limits in Bengaluru died after wall of his residence collapsed injuring his mother Chinamma and brother Manjunath.

Two women died on the spot while another injured after heavy lightning struck the trio at their farm land located in Thonasanahalli of Chitapur taluk, Kalburgi district on Saturday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Basamma Thippana Sangavi (45) and Ambika Shivaraja Saradagi (43) whereas seriously injured woman has been identified as Anjanamma.
