Bengaluru: Rajya Raitha Sangha leader Puttaswamy on Monday, December 31 urged the state government to conduct an investigation into the death of IPS officer Madhukar Shetty.
Addressing presspersons, he said that he suspects that senior IPS officer Madhukar Shetty who is known for his honesty and integrity, might have died due to wrong treatment. Madhukar was physically and mentally fit and it is very suspicious on how he was afflicted with H1N.
He further added that after his death, blood stains were found on the right side of the mouth and inside the nose. The doctors who treated him at the hospital have treated him on H1N1 instead of treating him on the heart-related disease. The government should constitute a special investigating team comprising expert doctors and senior officers, he demanded.
Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar had also expressed his suspicion on the death of Madhukar Shetty.
