Police officials have arrested Mukesh Kumar, a Rajasthan native, on charges of stealing cars in the city after arriving by flight from Rajasthan.
Acting on information provided by the accused, police have recovered three stolen cars, while a search operation is ongoing for four other suspects involved in the thefts.
The thefts, which occurred in the Byadarahalli and Annapoorneshwari Nagar areas, included five cars in total. CCTV footage from the crime scenes provided crucial leads, prompting police to travel to Rajasthan, where Mukesh was apprehended. Previously engaged in a clothing business in Cottonpet, Mukesh and his associates reportedly used technology to unlock and steal the cars, the investigation revealed.
