Rajini’s “Petta” trailer released

Chennai: The trailer of supertstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited ‘Petta’ was released Friday by the film makers, giving a sneak peak into the action flick boasting of a star-studded cast including Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Sethupathi.

It shows Rajinikanth in a cool avatar and in one scene making his trademark sunglasses gimmick, which is hugely popular among his fans.

The film is expected to be an action flick with the stunts being choreographed by Peter Hein.

Produced by Sun Pictures, it is directed by ‘Pizza’ fame Karthik Subbaraj and music scored by Anirudh.

Besides Siddiqi and Sethupathy the film’s star cast includes actresses Trisha and Simran and actor-director Sasikumar.

‘Petta’, roughly translating into one’s local stronghold in Tamil, will hit the screens ahead of the Pongal festival in mid January.
