Rajnath Singh visits Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt

Udupi: Union Home Minister Rajanath Singh visited the Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt on Monday.

Singh was in his visit to the district ahead of polls.

Singh along with other BJP leaders met Paryaya Palimaru Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji and seeked his blessings.

During the talks with the minister, the seer urged him to take steps to provide permanent security arrangements for the Sri Krishna Mutt which was in the hit list of terrorists.

MP Shobha Karandlaje, Udupi BJP candidate Raghupathi Bhat, District BJP President Mattar Ratnaker Hegde and others were present.
