Rajyothsava Award by month end: Jayamala

Udupi: Since to the election code of conduct was in effect, there was a delay in distributing the Rajyothsava Award. However, the awards will be given by the of the month, said district in-charge minister Dr Jayamala.

The minister was speaking in response to the questions from the presspersons on the occasion of the inauguration of AYSUH Hospital and informed that the state level award list has been given to the chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and the awards will be presented in Udupi district on Nov 28th.  

Did not speak against women

Responding to the question on the chief minister speaking low of farmer women, Jayamala said that the chief minister did not speak against the women. He views girls with respect and calls the mothers, she said.

The president – vice president selection for the city local administration institution will be conducted this month. We are attempting to find solutions for the sand problem, said Dr Jayamala.
