Rajyotsava awardee Hasan Nayeem Surkod injured in accident

Bengaluru: Hasan Nayeem Surkod one of the Rajyotsava awardee’s car met with an accident near Chitradurga on Thursday, November 29  killing a passenger of the auto on the spot.

The deceased is identified as Siddesh (31) of Hampanur village. 

The incident took place around 6 AM  when Surkod along with his family members were on their way to Bengaluru from Ramadurga to receive his award which was presented on Thursday evening. However, Surakod sustained a head injury in the accident and is out of danger informed sources.

The writer has expressed grief at his over the death of Siddesh.

A case has been registered with Bharamasagara police
