Ramanagar/Ayodhya: Ramanagar delegation of 150 members led by District In-charge Minister Dr. C Ashwath Narayan reached Ayodhya Sri Ram Mandir of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, December 15, and offered 1.50 kg silver brick for Ram Mandir, silk saree for Goddess Sita and a shawl for Ram-Lakshman.

Upon reaching the temple premises at around 11 AM on Thursday, archaka Gopal Bhat and team from Karnataka received the offerings and conducted a ritualistic puja, before handing them over to the temple.

In the meantime, the sacred soil of Ayodhya was offered puja and handed over to Ashwath Narayan and his team members.

Ashwath Narayan said that the sacred soil will be offered on the Ramadevara Betta at Ramanagar, after returning.

Later the offerings were handed over to General Secretary, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra, Champath Rai, and temple trust members. At this point in time, the team members along with the minister raised slogans, “Jai Sri Ram” and “Bharath Mata Ki Jai”.

Speaking to the media, Ashwath Narayan said, “The Ramadevara Betta at Ramanagar bears the name of Lord Sri Ram. The hill is also home to rare species of vultures. The vultures here have a lineage of Jatayau and Sampati of Ramayan times. There is a connection between Ramanagar, Ram, and Ramayan. As per the wishes of the people of Ramanagar, the offerings have been handed over. By this, the people of Ramanagar are blessed by Lord Ram.”

“Lord Ram is the symbol of Indian culture and heritage. Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is also an inspiration to us, a grand Ram Mandir is coming up. By the year 2024, the temple doors will be open to the devotees”, he added.

Further, he said, “Due to Lord Ram, the concept of ‘Ramarajya’ came into play. Lord Ram’s power of uniting people has been passed on from the Treta Yuga.”

After the rituals and handing over the offerings, the team along with the minister viewed the temple construction work.
