Ramanagara: A six-year-old boy died during surgery at a hospital in Ramanagara on Sunday, with the family accusing the doctors of negligence.
The boy, Arya, hailing from Huliyurdurga, was admitted for a surgery related to a testicular condition.
Arya’s family, who currently reside in Mayaganahalli, had consulted various hospitals regarding his medical issue, as he was born with only one testicle. Doctors at a private hospital in the city had advised surgery.
On Sunday morning, around 11 AM, Arya was taken to the operation theater. Tragically, at around 11:30 AM, he passed away. The family alleges that the death occurred due to medical negligence and have filed a complaint with the city police station.
