Ramanagara: Three persons killed, one injured in bike-bus collision

Ramanagara: A tragic accident between a KSRTC bus and a motorcycle claimed the lives of a rider and two children, leaving a woman critically injured. The incident occurred on Thursday near Achalu village in Ramanagara taluk.
The accident happened when a bus traveling from Ramanagara to Kanakapura collided with a bike heading in the opposite direction. The deceased include a father, a young boy, and a girl. The woman, who was also on the bike, sustained critical injuries and is undergoing treatment.
The victims were reportedly traveling toward Ramanagara on a TVS motorcycle.
The collision caused a massive traffic jam on the Ramanagara-Kanakapura road, with vehicles stuck for kilometers. Local police from the Ramanagara Rural Police Station arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
The bodies were left on the road, creating chaos and obstructing even ambulances from reaching the spot. Authorities are working to clear the traffic and provide assistance to the affected families.
