Ramanagara: Two children killed, five injured in road accident

Ramanagara: In a heart-wrenching incident, two children were killed while five others sustained serious injuries after being run over by a speeding goods vehicle on Magadi Road, on Wednesday.
The mishap took place around 8 pm when the children were headed home after attending their tuition class. They were crossing the road when the vehicle allegedly hit them.
Rohin (5) and Shalini (8) were killed in the accident while five others were injured. The injured children were rushed to the district hospital for treatment. Two of the injured children were later shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru for further medical treatment.
Ramanagara Rural Police registered a case in this regard.
