Mangaluru: For the first time ever in Mangaluru, a circus has moved from its usual tent to a comfortable air-conditioned hall. Organised by the Rambo Circus Company the performances kicked off on Thursday at TMA Pai Convention Center. The shows will be held from September 21 to 24.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath inaugurated the show, commending the organizers for hosting a circus in an air-conditioned hall for the first time in Mangaluru. He encouraged families to attend in large numbers and support this rare art form. Kamath also stated that the circus provides unique entertainment for the city’s residents, who often face stressful lives. As an MLA, he pledged to provide necessary assistance to children from various special schools in the city to attend the circus.

Mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur noted that Rambo Circus, with a 32-year history, is now performing in an indoor auditorium. He highlighted that the circus offers entertainment with over 60 acts, without the use of any animals.

Among others present were Corporator Shakeela Kava, District Journalists Association President Shrinivas Nayak Indaje, Rambo Circus MD Sujith Dilip, businessman Vasant Poojary, and Manjanath from Nisarga Publicity.

Rambo Circus Company has successfully performed in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Goa, Kochi, and many other cities, introducing exciting new acts. The circus show, affected by the COVID wave, has been arranged in an air-conditioned hall to bring innovation to the audience.

The circus is a two-hour-long event, featuring entertaining acrobatic performances such as a bubble show, skating, ladder balance, sword act, cube juggling, rolla bolla, hula hoop, and aerial rope.

This is an opportunity to relive the laugh-out-loud comedy situations enjoyed in childhood. Tickets are available at the counters, and seats can also be booked through the BookMyShow app.

Show Timings:

  • September 22: Three shows at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm
  • September 23: Four shows at 11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm
  • September 24: Four shows at 11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm
