Ramnagar: Controversy erupts over images of Jesus Christ on ration cards

Ramnagar: Photos showing ration cards displaying the images of Jesus Christ has gone viral on social media.
The incident took place in Dodda Alanahalli village, the birthplace of the state’s Congress President D.K. Shivakumar. The images of Jesus Christ is printed on the back page of the ration card.
Hindu organizations have condemned the incident.
Meanwhile, the development has led to debate over attempts to promote communalism in the region. Hindu activists and BJP leaders have claimed that attempts are being made to impose Christianity.
Sri Ram Sena District president Nagarjun in his complaint said that their organization will not let anyone do a religious conversion.
