Ramnagar: Wife, child thrown out of house on astrologer’s advice, case filed

A woman filed a police complaint against her husband accusing him of throwing her and their three-year-old son out of the house reportedly on the advice of an astrologer.

The accused, Naveen a resident of Bengaluru’s Channapatna had visited an astrologer after their child’s birth in January 2020.

The astrologer told Naveen that since the boy was born in ‘Moola Nakshatra, he would bring bad luck to the family.

The complainant, Shruti alleged that following this Naveen began abusing and assaulting her. His family even asked her to pour petrol on the baby and set him ablaze, she said in her complaint.

Ramnagar Woman’s police station registered a case and began investigations.
