Rang 2022: Srinivas University celebrates Holi with great fervor

Mangaluru: The students of Srinivas University- Institute of Hotel Management, Aviation Studies, Education and Interior Design, City  Campus,  Pandeshwar,  jointly celebrated  Holi,     Rang 2022 on 17th March, at its campus. The celebration is envisioned to bring the community of students on a common platform and celebrate the festival of colours. The programme concluded with rain dance, cultural events, DJ songs and also vibrant play of colours.

The festival was celebrated under the guidance and blessings of Dr. C.A. A.Raghavendra Rao- Honourable Chancellor of Srinivas University and President of A.Shama Rao Foundation.  Dr.A.Srinivas Rao- Honourable Pro-Chancellor, of Srinivas University and Vice-President of Srinivas Group of Institutions presided over the function and he encouraged students to participate in the event.  Sri.Akshy Sridhar IAS., Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation, was the Chief Guest.

While addressing the students he remembered his college days and he encouraged the students to celebrate the Holi since the students got a chance after 2 years after Covid-19, and he wished all the students for a bright and prosperous future. Dr.P.S.Aithal – Vice-Chancellor and Dr.Ajay K J- Registrar  Development, Srinivas University, Deans, Teaching and Non-Teaching faculties and students of Institute of Hotel Management, Aviation Studies, Education and Interior Design were present.

The compering for the ceremony was done by Ms.Kavyashree, Lecturer, Institute of Aviation Studies. Dr.P.S.Aithal –Vice-Chancellor welcomed the gathering. Dr.Jayashree, Dean, Institute of Education, delivered the vote of thanks.
