Mysuru: An incident where a young woman was allegedly attacked and attempted to be raped was reported from the city here.
The incident reportedly occurred at the Holy Cross Study House hostel near Pushpaashram church in Naidu Nagar.
DCP Pradeep Gunthi visited the site and inspected it along with a dog squad.
Police have acquired CCTV footages and have started a formal investigation.
The attack victim was reportedly found in a semi-conscious state and was admitted to KR Hospital in the city.
